Tools that keep your data yours

Every app we ship starts from one rule: we should have no access to your data, ever. That constraint shapes everything else.

Why we build this way

Local-first by default

Your data lives on your phone, encrypted at rest. Cloud sync is always opt-in and always encrypted before leaving your device.

Honest pricing

Download free and use the core app at no cost. Unlock premium features once for $3.99 — no subscription, no recurring charges, and no data business on the side.

Minimal permissions

We request only what the app actually needs. No location, no contacts, no microphone unless a feature explicitly requires it.

Long-term support

We maintain what we ship. Bug fixes, security updates, and compatibility with new Android versions — included for all users, free and premium alike.

Max Royen Studio is the publishing label for Hassan Tahir, an independent mobile developer building apps for people who take privacy seriously.

The idea is simple: every app we release should be something we'd want on our own phone — fast, focused, offline-capable, and free from the business models that turn users into products.

Safe Vault is the first release. More are planned. The studio name stays consistent across apps so you always know where an app came from and what it stands for.

Questions, bug reports, or feature ideas are always welcome. There's no support ticket system — just an email address and a person who reads it.

Get in touch

For support, feedback, press inquiries, or anything else — send an email. No ticket system, no chatbot. A real person reads every message.
